Burley in the New Forest - Burley is a beautiful New Forest village, fascinating to visit due to it's chactacter particulary relating to Witches and Witchcraft.
The witchcraft connection became famous in the 1950's thanks to a local "white witch", Sybil Leek, who was a character frequently seen in the village with her pet jackdaw, and made TV appearances.
There are a couple of very interesting witchcraft and new forest folklore related shops here, including "Rainbows End", "The Sorceror's Apprentice" and "A Coven of Witches" which sells everything including Spells!
New Forest ponies roam free throught the village, and there's several hotels and guest houses here, due to popular tourist demand. The village is also famous for fudge and cider making.
