Beaulieu in the New Forest - Beaulieu is a small picturesque village in the Southe East of the New Forest, and is most famous for being the home of the National Motor museum.
Beaulieu village is very pretty, but has very limited parking.
It's a good idea to plan a day doing "Beaulieu", visting the combined attractions of the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu Palace House, Beaulieu Abbey, James bond Experience, the Mono Rail, the Top Gear Experience, Secret Army Exhibition, the gardens, rides, and the walk into the charming village.
|
If you get time, you could also visit Bucklers Hard. Exbury Gardens are also very nearby, but are worth a day in their own right.
Beaulieu is very popular with birdwatchers seeking to catch a glimpse of less common and very interesting birds found here in the wild including the Hobby, Honey buzzard and Dartford Warbler.
